Event Details

The Navy League's annual STEM Expo will take place on Sunday, April 19 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM in the Cherry Blossom Ballroom at the Gaylord National Resort & Convention Center, with registration opening at 9:30 AM for badge pick up.

Who Should Attend

The STEM Expo is geared for students, grades 5 through 12, but students of all ages are encouraged to attend. Please note that children under 15 years of age MUST be accompanied by an adult 18 or older.

Parking

The Gaylord National has self-parking and Sea-Air-Space has discounted pricing for $10.00. You must purchase your parking voucher from the desk located at the Maryland Bus Loop near SAS Registration.

About the STEM Expo

The Navy League created the STEM Expo to give students interested in science, technology, engineering, and math an opportunity to enjoy interactive workshops and hands-on demonstrations while accessing real-world career information. Learn more about the Navy League's mission.

Q. Who attends?
A. The STEM Expo is geared at students, grades 5 through 12, but parents, educators and younger siblings are all encouraged to attend. Please note, students under the age of 15 must be accompanied by someone 18 or older.

A. The expo was created to give students interested in science, technology, engineering and math careers an opportunity to enjoy interactive STEM workshops and hands-on demonstrations while also getting access to STEM career information and real-world practitioners.


Q. What does it cost? 
A. Attending the expo is completely FREE!


Q. How do I get there?
A. The Gaylord National Resort and Convention Center is located in National Harbor, Maryland, and is easily accessible from Maryland, D.C. and Virginia. Paid parking is available near the Gaylord.

Exhibitor Application

Be a part of the magic at Sea Air Space’s STEM Expo 2022. This free, hands-on experience for students encourages further exploration in science, technology, engineering, and math. 

Objectives: 

• Encourage students to pursue coursework and careers in science, technology, engineering, and math. 

• Reach underserved communities to promote their interest and advancement in STEM. 

• Provide hands-on experiences and learning. 

• Give students, parents, and teachers access to a diverse sample of organizations for networking opportunities and development. 

Booth space is available free of charge to approved exhibitors.

About SAS Stem Expo: The STEM Expo is focused on 5th-12th graders, but open to students (and parents and educators) of all ages. Advanced registration is required. Admission is free. 

Event Date and Time: April 3, 2022 from noon to 4 p.m.

Location: Gaylord National Harbor Hotel and Convention Center
