Sea-Air-Space Cancellation Announcement

April 2, 2020  

The conference organizer, the Navy League of the United States, has reached out to all 2020 exhibitors, sponsors and attendees with information on how we are processing refunds due to the cancellation of Sea-Air-Space 2020. If you believe you should have been contacted regarding a refund but have not received any information, please email seaairspace@navyleague.org. Please note that the Navy League can only provide refunds for registrations, booth space and sponsors. If you need a refund of your hotel booking or for items you purchased for your booth, please contact the Gaylord National Harbor or Freeman, respectively. 

The Navy League, alongside our exposition sales team at NTP Events, is in the process of reaching out regarding booth rebooking for Sea-Air-Space 2021, which will be held from April 12-14 at the Gaylord National Harbor. Please be on the lookout for more information on this in the coming weeks.  

Also, in light of the COVID-19 pandemic, scammers that target trade show participants have ramped up their activities. Please be vigilant of any company looking to sell you attendee information, contact you regarding your hotel booking or any other related item. The Navy League will never sell your information to a third-party, and anyone claiming to have information on our attendees is participating in a scam. If anyone contacts you regarding Sea-Air-Space and you question their validity, please email events@navyleague.org and we would be happy to address the situation.

Due to an order issued yesterday by the governor of Maryland prohibiting gatherings in excess of 250 people, we regret to inform you that Sea-Air-Space 2020 is canceled. Our top priorities are the safety and well-being of our sea services community, and the trust our corporate members, sponsors and exhibitors place on their relationship with the Navy League.  

We cannot begin to express how much we were looking forward to hosting this event, and we were anticipating it to be our best year yet. 

We will continue to work with all our stakeholders to ensure that we hear all your concerns through this unprecedented situation. We look forward to our continued partnerships and to seeing you again in 2021.

    Sea-Air-Space will next occur from April 12-14, 2021.

  • Are you offering a refund for this event? 

    For individuals and companies that had the full intention of attending Sea-Air-Space 2020, we will be reaching out regarding further information. It is our intention to treat all our attendees, exhibitors and partners with the respect they deserve, and we ask for your patience as we work through the logistics.

  • How will the Navy League manage Sea-Air-Space 2021 booth space booking in light of the cancellation? 

    We are currently making plans to book 2021 based on priority points and we will be in touch in the near future.

International Visitors 

Due to the recently announced 30-day travel restrictions between the United States and continental Europe, Sea-Air-Space will be reaching out to these individuals via the email they provided upon registration to coordinate this change. 

Military Visitors 

On March 11, the Secretary of Defense announced travel restrictions for 60 days for service members, DoD civilians and families traveling to, from, or through Level 3 locations, as designated by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. These restrictions are effective March 13 and, therefore, overlap with Sea-Air-Space. Sea-Air-Space 2020 is scheduled to proceed as planned. The conference organizer, the Navy League of the United States, is aware of concerns regarding the novel coronavirus (COVID-19). We encourage all attendees to adhere to the normal precautionary measures they would take during flu season and practice good hygiene. 

Please use the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s recommendations for prevention. 

We are complying with updates from and will continue to monitor the World Health Organization, CDC and the State Department. 

We will continue to update this page with information as necessary.
